Riu Lupita Hotel Playa del Carmen, Playa del Carmen

Staying at the hotel was a unique experience. The rooms, although in need of updating, were comfortable and immaculately clean, offering a view of the garden, golf park, and even a private zoo with various wildlife. The location was ideal, close to a golf course and a supermarket, albeit needing some improvement. The dining experience, while repetitive, featured delicious local dishes and plenty of fresh fruit. The service, though the staff seemed tired at times, was pleasant and cheerful overall.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The spotless rooms in a quiet location were a real treat, not far from the restaurant and activities. The staff was a bit hit and miss and disorganized in the main restaurant, but the service at the Cozumel beach restaurant was exceptional, sorting out two problems for us which we were very grateful for. The hotel's location off the beach on the golf course was incredible, with a nice vibe and plenty of sunbeds. The dining experience was the best for me, although watching out for seagulls dive-bombing your food was a bit of a challenge. The facilities overall added to the positive experience, making it a memorable holiday.

The resort offers good, clean rooms with free air conditioning and a safe, although privacy could be an issue with twin doubles. The service is superb, with attentive and polite staff, including fun towel animals from housekeeping. The location is beautiful and clean, near the shops, but some facilities were closed for renovations. The dining experience is enjoyable, especially the buffet options.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were well-equipped with amenities but cleanliness was an issue with stained bedsheets. The location was vibrant and ideal for exploring Playa Del Carmen but there were ongoing renovations. Service was excellent with dedicated staff but lacked attention to detail in cleaning.
